[On the night before the draft begins, a simple message is sent out over the journals.]

Hey. Anyone want to grab a drink before they shoot us into space? I'll be at Good Spirits.

[Greed enters Good Spirits around dusk and sticks around well into the night, sitting along the bar. He'll share a drink and swap stories with pretty much anyone.

One could also run into him earlier in the day, as he does spend some time in the afternoon doing some training in the Battle Dome and working out his Ultimate Shield for the first time in a while.]

[As per usual, Azusa will be at the bar, drinking by herself. Small drinks, hardly any alcohol. She doesn't live with anyone, so she doesn't want to overdo it, but it's still a nice way to end the night. Tonight, she just so happens to sit near Greed, though. And being the social butterfly she is, she'll even greet him.]

[He vaguely recalls seeing her around the bar. Greed lazily waves a hand in greeting and glances towards her from his own drink.]

It's a nice night for a drink, isn't it? Everyone's been so busy lately.

[He glances towards her for a little longer this time, with a smirk.]

Definitely. Thought I should get as much alcohol in me now before they make me a spaceman tomorrow.

[Azusa is usually all smiles, but hearing that forces it to waver.]

So you're...hmm. If you're leaving tomorrow, it wouldn't do for you to drink alone tonight, would it? If you don't mind the company.

Oh, of course. I always welcome company. I'm kind of a people person, I guess.

[She's just going to take a seat then, Greed.]

[He rotates in his seat to face her.]

Good. It's a very natural quality to want more [Don't say possessions.] friends. My name's Greed.

No, the pleasure is all mine, I'm sure. I've never meet a homunculus, though. I'm an idol, myself. What does a homunculus do for a living?

[She doesn't understand what Greed meant. At all.]

This is gonna be kind of awkward... Being a homunculus means I'm an artificial human, powered by a Philospher's Stone. And I'm the personification of someone's greed.

[He casually sips from a beer.]

Hm...I don't think that's awkward at all. Luceti is filled with so many different kinds of people, after all. [She smiles. Her drink is on the way.] So does that mean you're a robot, then...?

[He gives a sigh.]

No, I'm still flesh and blood. Not an inch of automail on me. I was just unnaturally created or whatnot.

That's not so unusual, is it...? I think I've heard about something like that before. I'm not really an expert, though.

[AKA, no big deal, Greed, let's drink.]

I doubt anyone really is, lady. [It's not like the ones responsible, Father and Hohenheim, really had a clue what the hell they were doing anyway. He holds up his beer with a devilish grin - even though it's really hard for liquor to affect him.]

You think so...? It does seem like a complicated subject~. [She's going to mistake that as an attempt to toast, so she holds up her can as well.] What would you like to toast tonight?

A toast? Um, sure, uh... how about this? A toast to everything we'd ever want. May it be here in Luceti.

That sounds like a great toast, Greed~! [Clanging?] I'm not sure if my special someone is here or not, but wouldn't that be romantic?

[They clang, and he downs the beer.]

I want something harder next. [To Azusa, realizing what she said.] Eh, special someone? Oh, you're one of those romantic types. If that's the kind of thing you want, it's something to hope for, I guess.

Something harder? Like what? [Also drinking!] I suppose that I am, but if I can't find that here, I'd just want all my friends to be safe.

[moremoremore]

I think I'll try something new. One of those drinks from other worlds. You got anything in mind? Safety of friends, huh? That's pretty noble, as long as you can get your own satisfaction from it.

[mythmaker]

Hmm...have you ever tried one of Nami's? [She flags one down with whoever's on duty.] It's named after a friend of mine here~. It's really fruity.

I haven't seen them all for so long. Are any friends from your own world here?

[moremoremore]

"Fruity" ain't exactly the taste I'm looking for, but I can give it a try.

[A small pause before he answers her question with a faint smile.] Yeah. I have a few friends. You know anyone from Amestris or Xing?

[mythmaker]

It isn't? Hmm...I'm afraid I'm only familiar with beer, really. [Not that there's anything wrong with that.] I haven't heard of those places, either. Is that where you're from?

[moremoremore]

Yeah, I'd prefer something really hard. Something with a real burn. But yeah, I'm from around those areas, you could say. I'm surprised you haven't met anyone from my world. One of them runs the smithy hear. And the other, the Elric kid, he's such a loudmouth the whole village must've heard him by now.

[mythmaker]

I'm used to drinking beer, I'll admit...[She thinks for a second.] I think I've spoken to the blacksmith once or twice, but I don't really have a need to visit there. [She thinks you mean Sokka. 8D]

Well if there's anything I am, it's consistent. Trust me, if you were anything I ever wanted to get along with, I'd treat something to closer to nicely.
